Volunteer Positions open in New Zealand!

We are seeking motivated and passionate people to help work towards the mission of NPH to serve orphaned and abandoned children. Please join this ever-growing family and do something that matters.

NPH New Zealand provides education, medicine, and a loving home to children throughout Latin America who have been abandoned, abused, or orphaned. Our programs provide aid relief, quality education and health care to children and local communities with the goal of raising productive members of society.

We are seeking motivated, creative and well-organized volunteers for NPH New Zealand. The volunteer will be able to work independently and in a team environment.

This is a great opportunity to learn a huge amount about the not for profit sector in a variety of areas. This role will be a very strong credential on a CV and the hours are flexible.

Below are the available positions:

Events and Fundraising Volunteer

We are seeking a motivated, creative and well organized events and fundraising volunteer for NPH New Zealand. The volunteer will be able to work independently and in a team environment. Ideal candidates will be flexible, hard working and passionate about the cause.

The candidate will assist the director and team of volunteers in many aspects of fundraising and communications.

Time Commitment: 2-3 days a week.

Key Tasks

  • Event organization
  • Donor relations
  • Administration assistance
  • Communications and marketing assistance

Communications Volunteer

We are seeking a motivated, creative and well organized communications and PR volunteer for NPH New Zealand. The volunteer will be able to work independently and in a team environment. Ideal candidates will have some communications/PR/marketing or administration experience, be hard working and passionate about the cause.

The candidate will work with the director and team of volunteers in many aspects of fundraising and communications.

Time Commitment: 2-3 days a week.

Key Tasks

  • Editing and preparing articles, newsletters, press releases and marketing materials as needed
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with representatives of the media, community and public interest groups.
  • Contacting service groups, media etc.
  • Event assistance
  • Administration assistance and other tasks as needed

Office Support Volunteer

We are seeking a motivated, creative and well organized office support volunteer for NPH New Zealand. The volunteer will be able to work independently and in a team environment. Ideal candidates will be flexible, hard working and passionate about the cause.

The candidate will assist the director and team of volunteers in many aspects of administration, fundraising and communications.

Time Commitment: 2-3 days a week.

Key Tasks

  • Administration assistance
  • Child Sponsorship Program assistance
  • Donor relations
  • Communication assistance
  • Administration assistance and other tasks as needed
